More Than A Fund! - ACIC
The Mission of “A Change is Coming” Scholarship Fund is to provide Black Men and Women with opportunities for education, without needing to follow the traditional paths that often lead to scholarships within their communities. This is done through doing away with the unrealistic requirements for marginalized students, and creating new ways to determine eligibility, as well as focusing on shifting the narrative that Black students will only be able to succeed in higher education if they fit athletic criteria. A Change is Coming aims to equip future Black engineers, accountants, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and any other field that not only promotes equality within said field, but also benefits the Black community at large. But we are not your traditional scholarship fund, while keeping education first we try to reach our community through various ways such as back-to-school drives, sports, and mentorship programs, financial literacy, and much more!
