Education
We believe that quality education is the cornerstone of thriving communities. We want to empower young minds to pursue any career field they wish, without feeling the pressure to focus on extracurriculars in order to secure a place in the higher educational system.
Vision
Without vision, a person’s future is diminished. We want to empower students to hold tight to their vision, even when it is outside traditional paths. Having vision that challenges the current system is the most effective way to bring about change.
Outreach
Community outreach is a pillar of our foundation. We are all better when we serve one another. We do this through outreach initiatives, as well as requiring scholarship recipients to be active members of their community.
Wellness.
The physical and mental wellbeing of the African American community is often overlooked, but deeply important. We are committed to being resource not only for achievement, but for overall wellness of body, soul, and spirit.
Unity
Our heart is to use avenues of nontraditional empowerment to bring unity between the African American communities and everyone else. We aim to look past stereotypes and harmful rhetoric and reveal empathy, kindness, and healthy dialogue.
