Crystal Ndidi Ibe was born in Flint, Michigan but raised in North Richland Hills, Texas. She is a licensed attorney, practicing law in Texas and Washington, D.C., and is the owner and operator of The Ibe Law Firm, PLLC, where she handles a variety of issues for individuals and businesses.
Crystal Ndidi Ibe attended the United States Naval Academy on a full volleyball scholarship after receiving her nomination to attend from then-Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. After 2 years at the Naval Academy, she transferred to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English. From there, she attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law of Texas Southern University. While still in law school, she published her solo-authored law review article entitled “Feeding the Homeless: The Criminalization of a Humanitarian Act.”
Crystal Ndidi Ibe is committed to truly making a positive impact in the community. She currently serves on the North Richland Hills Zoning Board of Adjustment and previously served as Secretary of the Executive Board of the Dallas-Fort Worth Professionals Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. She is a member of the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce and volunteers her time by serving as a guest speaker to high school students and mentoring aspiring law students. She was also a candidate for North Richland Hills City Council in the May 2021 general election.
